Costa Café Longford

Plenty of seating, plug sockets, and free parking make this Costa handy if you’re looking to stay a while. However, the interior hasn’t really changed since it opened over 10 years ago, so it’s starting to look a bit tired—especially compared to newer Costa locations in Cavan, Mullingar, or Tullamore. Coffee is the usual standard, decent but nothing special. Staff are fine, though not as friendly as those in some of the independent coffee shops in town.

A bit overpriced for what they offer. Paying so much for a self service is beyond a joke. Fancy coffees etc are served in other places too. To be honest you can tell the quality of the coffee those are more like desserts. Sorry I'd rather go elsewhere and support a local Irish café with better atmosphere, quality of products and service.

Grand coffee just staff are quite rude and don't seem to do a lot. I received my coffee in a cup with lipstick smudges on it, I brought it back and showed the lady at the counter and she questioned me (a man) as if it was my lipstick and had no right to find an issue with this. Gave me another cup which wasn't much cleaner by the looks of it. Considering they are relatively expensive for a cup of coffee you'd expect a bit more then this sort of thing. Place is filthy and staff start closing up an hour before closing time making you feel rushed and unwelcome. I'd go somewhere else if I was you.
